Recent events in both Northern and Southern countries have confirmed the major place and role played by students in the societal and university life. We usually say that today’s students are tomorrow’s decision-makers, but they are, above all, today actor ‘university life. The starting point is the student commitment and their voluntarism, but it’s also part of university responsibility to support students’ organizations, to promote their independence, to think them as real facilitators and ambassadors. University should be the place of student’s empowerment for its own benefit but also for the whole society benefit.
This webinar will be the occasion to discuss the perspective of the student’ organizations role in the Mediterranean region, through the experience of Erasmus Student Network, StEER-Leb and the Erasmus Morocco Network.
