Handbook on Good Practices & Recommendations

Elaborated during the shadowing visits by teams composed of staff and students from EU and Lebanese universities of the StEER-Leb project, this handbook gathers good practices and recommendations in relation to three specific aspects:

  • Student representation,
  • Student participation,
  • Students activities and events.

To only mention a few, these good practices encompass withdrawal from party affiliations of student representatives, involving students in the university governance, mentorship programs and mandatory civic engagement courses and hours. Each good practice is described in details, together with some potential challenges and suggested solutions.

The capacity building activities will aim at developing resources and tools in order for universities and students to implement these good practices.

The Handbook is available here.
